About Us

Tan Sri Mohd Najib Bin Abdul Aziz is the former Deputy Inspector General of Police Malaysia. He held the position from September 28, 2006 until November 12, 2007. Born in Sabak Bernam, Selangor on November 13, 1950, he began serving with the Police on November 11, 1969. During his service with PDRM, he gained extensive experience in security, especially criminal investigation, drug investigation, traffic investigation, including domestic security planning, crime prevention and public order.

He graduated with B.Soc.Sc (Hons) from Universiti Sains Malaysia, majoring in Political Science and minor in Economics. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Science. He has attended many international courses, conferences and seminars abroad on "Narcotics Control and Prevention" in Tokyo Japan; Isfahan Iran; Washington D.C., New York, Los Angeles and Maryland USA; Santiago Chile; Montreal Canada; Perth Australia and ASEAN countries including Thailand, Brunei, Philippines, Singapore, Laos and Indonesia.
